As aired at NBC on Tuesday morning, Scarlett Johansson has fulfilled a “lifelong dream” to become a weather girl when she raised her hand and volunteered to do the weather report for Al Roker, who spoke with raspy voice at the beginning of the show while taking to Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer.

“Miss, do you have any experience? Matt Lauer asked Johansson, who replied, “I have a lot of experience with weather. Yes. “I’d say this is my dream come true, doing the weather with Al Roker.” But Lauer said that she will be doing it alone, without Roker.

Later, the scene was transferred to the plaza, where Roker held an umbrella for Johansson as she does her weather reporting. With the help of a satellite radar map and notes, Scarlett reported the status of showers, thunderstorms, heavy rain, and snow across the U.S., and waved her hands to the map a couple of times.

“Here’s what’s happening in your neck of the woods.” Johansson said on the last part, ending her weather report with the famous line from Roker, along with a ‘hurray’ jump. The show hosts applauded her act, with Lauer noting that he liked her hand gestures while doing the report.
