Saudi Arabia Banned Facebook Due To Moral Values

According to a certain news website, Facebook was blocked by communication authority in Saudi Arabia because the popular social networking website does not fall in with the kingdom’s moral values.

Earlier report said that Facebook users in Saudi Arabia is having a hardtime accessing the website. This is because the Saudi’s Communications and Information Technology Commission blocked the site on Saturday.

However, the official said that the blocking of the site is just a temporary measure. Pakistan and Bangladesh also imposed a temporary ban on Facebook this year.

The official opted not to expose his identity because he was not authorized to speak to the media according to international reports.
