As reported at US news sites on Monday, Sarah Palin arrived at Gettysburg Civil War Battlefield that afternoon, and in on her East Coast bus tour labelled as “One Nation”.

Last Sunday, Palin rode on a motorcycle and wore a black jacket, as she started her tour along with and her family, which coincided with the Rolling Thunder‘s annual event “Ride for Freedom”.

Apparently, Palin’s supporters waited for her but the 2008 Election Vice-presidential candidate did not show up, as they are urging her to run in 2012 against US President Barack Obama who will run for reelection.

Nevertheless, outside her hotel, she spent around three minutes talking to media while her daughter Piper looks on, as she warmly answered some questions.

“Oh, it would definitely be unconventional and nontraditional, knowing us,” Palin, a Republican, said, when asked what she could be if she decides to run for president in 2012.

“I don’t know. I honestly don’t know,” she replied when asked if she will run, in which her 2008 presidential candidate Senator John McCain said earlier she has a great potential to win if she runs.

“It’s still a matter of looking at the field and considering much. There truly is a lot to consider before you throw yourself out there in the name of service to the public because it’s so all-consuming.” Palin added.

According to reports, Palin visited Mount Vernon and Fort McHenry before arriving at Gettysburg, and may also stop at Massachusetts and New Hampshire in the next few days.
