According to US news sites, Sarah Palin rode on back of a “Rolling Thunder” motorcycle as she launched her Eastern Coast tour which started from Pentagon and will end at the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, DC.

Palin, 47, a Republican, who also ran for vice-president during the 2008 US Presidential Election, wore a black leather jacket and a helmet; joined motorcycle riders on their annual “Ride for Freedom“.

“It indicates a desire of ours to get across America and remind ourselves about our foundation; how important it is to respect and protect our Constitution.” Palin was quoted as telling to ABC News, when asked about the motivation of her tour.

Apparently, Palin chat with other riders while some of the people in the crowd urged her to run for president in 2012, and face US President Barack Obama, who announced earlier he will run again.

Nevertheless, Sarah Palin went silent about the 2012 US Presidential Election although speculations still arise on her plans to become the first woman president of US.

Meanwhile, Arizona Senator John McCain, a Republican presidential candidate in 2008 Election and chose Sarah Palin as his running mate, told Fox News on Sunday that “she certainly is a major factor”.
