Manila, Philippines – Local ‘Pop Princess’ Sarah Geronimo launched her first solo live musical variety show “Sarah G Live” on Sunday, February 26, 2012 on ABS-CBN Channel 2, with the video of the her opening number shown below.

As featured at ABS-CBN on Sunday night, Sarah Geronimo‘s “Sarah G Live” featured the 23-year old singer actress performing live in the front of her fans, which was aired at 8:30 p.m. (local time), after “Rated K“.

Apparently, the show, which went trending on Twitter even before it made its debut, also featured Luis Manzano as co-host, with special co-host Derek Ramsey and special guest Ai-Ai delas Alas.

That night, Sarah Geronimo, sang a medley of songs and even danced with Gab Valenciano, and from time to time thanked her fans for all the support as well as to ABS-CBN for giving her the chance to have her own musical variety show.

Apparently, a portion on the show titled “Sige Go” adventure featured Sarah Geronimo visiting a yacht, and she was surprised after realizing that fellow actor Gerald Anderson was inside, as the two eventually shared some fun together.

Sarah and Gerald, whose second movie together “Won’t Last A Day Without You” did well in the box-office when it was shown on November 30, 2011, had fun together on their on their yacht ‘date’, which at one point Sarah called him “Babe”.

Sarah G Live is directed by Erick Salud, has Louie Ocampo as musical director, Georcelle Dapat-Sy as choreographer, and G-Force and Gab Valenciano as regular performers, and will have a special co-host every week.
