The unveiling of Samsung Galaxy S5 was never close to the theatrical event launch of the Galaxy S4 at the Radio City Music Hall last year.

According to JK Shin, Samsung Mobile Division Head, “With the Galaxy S5, Samsung is going back to basics to focus on delivering the capabilities that matter most to our consumers. Consumers are looking for mobile tools that inspire and support them as they improve their everyday lives.

Samsung Galaxy S5 is the latest flagship smartphone that is expected to compete directly with Apple’s iPhone 5S.

Analyst observed that some of the new features of Samsung Galaxy S5 include those that were already introduced earlier by Apple during the launch of its iPhone 5S. These observation may possibly trigger new legal battles between the two giant smartphone rivals.

Some of the new features of Samsung Galaxy S5 include fingerprint sensor, pulse monitor, improved battery life, dust and water proof, and intelligent auto adjust display. Check out other features of the Samsung Galaxy S5 by clicking here.

Samsung reported that Galaxy S5 will be available in April.
