The latest survey by Pulse Asia conducted on April 26-29 showed Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte still the top choice for president among voters of the Philippines. Duterte got 33 percent of the sampled 4,000 registered voters, reports said.

Liberal Party candidate Mar Roxas is statistically tied with Senator Grace Poe, garnering 22 percent and 21 percent, respectively. Meanwhile, Vice President Jejomar Binay got 17 percent while Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago is still at 2 percent.
Duterte took Mindanao with 58% rating and National Capital Region with 40%. Meanwhile, Poe leads in Luzon with 28% and Roxas took Visayas with 38%.
About 4% of the respondents answered “don’t know, refused, undecided, or none.”
According to Pulse Asia, the survey has a ±1.5% margin of error. The poll is sponsored by ABS-CBN. It covered both urban and rural areas with respondents 18 years old and above, and are registered voters with biometrics.
