The phrase “RIP Whitney Houston” is currently trending at Twitter, as Hollywood celebrities react on the singer’s death, along with tons of messages from fans and music lovers around the world.

As noted at US news sites on Saturday, February 11, 2012, Whitney Houston was found dead at 3:55 p.m. (LA time) at the fourth floor of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, with cause of death not yet known as of this writing.

Houston, who was 48 when she passed away, died in the night before the 2012 Grammy Awards, where she was once the Queen and won 6 awards; along with 30 Billboard Music Awards, and 22 American Music Awards.

Whitney Houston enchanted the music world with her majestic voice on numerous songs such as “The Greatest Love Of All”, “I Always Love You”, among others; and also starred at 1992 box-office hit “The Bodyguard” opposite Kevin Costner.

She has one child named Bobbi Kristina with Bobby Brown, whom she was married from 1992 to 2007; and had troubles in her life in the past years along with her tumultuous marriage.

Meanwhile, Hollywood celebrities mourn her loss and expressed their condolences via Twitter, along with numerous fans around the world, and below are among them.

“Heartbroken and in tears over the shocking death of my friend, the incomparable Ms. Whitney Houston… My heartfelt condolences to Whitney‘s family and to all her millions of fans throughout the world…. She will never be forgotten as one of the greatest voices to ever grace the earth.” Mariah Carey (@MariahCarey) tweeted.

“Just heard the news. so crazy. One of the Greatest Voices Ever just passed. RIP Whitney Houston. My prayers go out to her friends and family.” Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) tweeted.

“Wow I am devastated. the world has lost another one of the best voices in history. RIP Whitney Houston…” Randy Jackson (@YO_RANDYJACKSON) tweeted.

“I can’t fathom the fact that #whitneyhouston has died! My heart goes out 2 her mother, daughter & her love ones. #Whitney U will be missed!” La Toya Jackson (@latoyajackson) tweeted.

“Someone please tell me that it’s not true about Whitney Houston passing! Such an amazing talent!” Gloria Estefan (@GloriaEstefan) tweeted.
