Rihanna Concert Fire: Texas show cut short (Video)

A Rihanna concert in Dallas, Texas was cut short Friday, July 8, 2011 when a small fire broke out above the stage, as shown in the video below.

As reported at US news sites on Friday, the Rihanna concert which was held at the American Airlines Center (AAC) on Friday night ended unexpectedly due to a small fire that started on the roof.

The 23-year old R&B red-haired singer was noted to have been singing “California King Bed” on her “Loud” tour but the fire went noticeable after her performance and have left the stage.

As noted at CBS-DFW, 11 of their employees attended the concert and said that the fire appeared to have started from pyrotechnics that were part of show.

Later, Rihanna posted on her official Twitter account that she will be heading to a production meeting to find out exactly what happened and will her fans posted.

DALLAS!!! We set the stage on FYAH tonight!!! LITERALLY!!! I’m so pissed, I was havin so much fun wit yall too!!! I gotta come back man!!” Rihanna tweeted earlier.

“We were called in to assist. One of our engine crews did enter the building but crew members with the AAC or concert put out the initial fire.” Dallas Fire Rescue Captain Johnny Bates was quoted on the report.

“Everything is under control and there are no injuries,” Bates added, noting that the fire was controlled quickly.
