Richard Gomez, Albert Martinez and Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla will star in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) centennial movie, “Ang Sugo (The Last Messenger),” ABS-CBN News reported on Wednesday, November 28, 2012.
According to the report, Richard Gomez will portray as the first INC Executive Minister, Felix Manalo, who registered the church with the Philippine government on July 27, 1914.

Albert Martinez will play as the late Eraño Manalo, who succeeded as the INC Executive Minister in the 1950s; and Sen. Bong Revilla will play the role of Eduardo Manalo, the current INC Executive Minister, the report said.
The film is all about the history of the church, from its humble beginnings to what it is today. “This is historical. Pinapakita dito kung paano nagsimula ang Iglesia ni Cristo. Ipapakita dito ‘yung generations na dumaan pagkatapos ni Felix Manalo,” actor Richard Gomez was quoted as saying by ABS CBN News.
(This is historical. This film shows how the Iglesia ni Cristo started. This will show the generations that passed after Felix Manalo.)
Filming will start on the first quarter of 2013. It is directed by Tikoy Aguiluz and written by Arlyn dela Cruz, the report said.
