The black-and-white photograph of Wilbert Glenn Adriance, while in his training class at Company 5013-44 – Regiment 2 – Battalion 5, was received by her wife, Vivian Yvonne (Bonnie), after 67-years, according to a report by Sean Durity on YCN.

Adriance‘s Regiment photo in Farragut Naval Training Station, dated September 19, 1944, is contained inside a small cardboard tube package delivered by Essex, Md. to Bonnie on March 7, 2011.

The package, addressed to “Mrs. Wilbert Adriance,” was sent from Farragut, Idaho to Baltimore, and still contain the old number 21 pre-ZIP code zone of Baltimore.

The Essex postal worker found Adriance‘s obituary online, that enabled him to trace the location of Bonnie.

Vivian Yvonne died on April 10, 2011, a month after receiving the picture of her husband.
