Red Riding Hood, shown in theaters since March 11, 2011, is a fairy tale movie about Valerie who is caught between an idealistic and a bad boy suitor. Reviews by international sites have compared Red Riding Hood with Twilight Zone.

Amanda Seyfried played as Valerie, while Max Irons is the idealistic Henry and Shiloh Fernandez acts as the humble woodcutter Peter. Reports say that Taylor Lautner was earlier considered for the role of Peter.

Catherine Harwicke, a former production manager who directed Twilight the movie, is the director of Red Riding Hood. Critics say that Harwicke was able to come up with a visual style that emphasized the story’s fancy beginnings with evocatively spiky trees, and wintry landscape dotted with splashes of bright, unseasonal color.

Red Riding Hood was given a PG-13 rating due to violence, terrifying scenes and some sensual scenes.
