As posted at Radiohead.com on Monday, February 14, 2011, the band thanked their die-hard fans for waiting, with a link to ‘The King of Limbs‘ official website, and inviting them to make a pre-order sale.

According to Radiohead, ‘The King of Limbs‘ will perhaps be the world’s first newspaper album, which consists of two vinyl records, a CD, larges sheets of artwork, 625 pieces of tiny artwork plus a full-color piece of oxo-degradable plastic to hold it together.

Meanwhile, the MP3 format will be a 320K constant bit rate file and compatible with all good digital media players. The WAV version will be a full CD quality uncompressed digital audio file.

In addition, the post said that a lucky fan who will buy the digital version of The King Of Limbs through their website will get a signed 2 track 12″ vinyl.

The Newspaper Album + MP3 cost £30.00, while the Newspaper Album + WAV are worth £33.00. On the other hand, MP3 format can be bought for £6.00 and the WAV version is £9.00.

The King of Limbs is the eighth album of Radiohead, and a follow-up to their 2007 album entitled ‘In Rainbows‘.

Radiohead rose to fame in UK in 1993, and later around the world after the release of their debut album entitled ‘Pablo Honey‘, which includes their first single ‘Creep‘.
