As noted at entertainment news sites that day, this is the second ‘Prometheus’ official movie full trailer after a teaser was released last December, with the film to be released on June 8, 2012.

According to Entertainment Weekly, among those present during the launch of the full movie trailer includes stars Michael Fassbender and Charlize Theron, screenwriter Damon Lindelof, and film director Ridley Scott.

Apparently, Lindelof, who hosted the event, along with other three, did not entertain questions from reporters but Scott noted the crowd he hopes to have a sequel to the film.

“If we’re lucky, there will be a second part of this [film], [as] the film does leave you with some nice big open questions.” Scott was quoted on the report, who originally conceived the idea of the movie as a prequel to his 1979 science fiction horror film classic ‘Alien‘.

However, Lindelof noted earlier that ‘Prometheus‘ was developed into a separate story that precedes the events of “Alien,” but is not directly connected to the said film and will explore its own mythology and ideas.

Meanwhile, among other stars included in the ‘Prometheus‘ movie are Noomi Rapace, Idris Elba, Guy Pearce and Logan Marshall-Green, with the story features a team of explorers who discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth.
