As noted at Huffington Post on Wednesday, August 22, 2012, President Obama had a political campaign at Ohio State University on Tuesday, and posed for photos with some of the students to spell O-H-I-O, but ended up with the wrong spelling; and was immediately being spread via Twitter.

Apparently, Christopher Maloney, communications director of Mitt Romney in Ohio, posted the said photo on his official Twitter account on Wednesday, which he claimed was provided to him a student who was present that time; and reminded Mr. Obama of the correct spelling of Ohio, where the president later made a speech.

“A word of advice to @BarackObama: it’s “O-H-I-O” that has 18 electoral votes, not “O-I-H-OMaloney (@ChrisMaloney) tweeted, along with the controversial photo, which had been retweeted for nearly 500 times as of this writing.

On the other hand, Washington Post reportedly tweeted that the said photo was photoshopped and was made to malign the president, but later deleted the tweet after some Twitter users said that the photo was authentic since there are also other students who took photos of the embarrassing moment by Mr. Obama.

Later, another photo surfaced which came from the students who posed with the president; and this time with ‘Ohio‘ being spelled correctly. Mr. Obama is now posing as if he is forming a letter ‘I’ instead of ‘H’ which he did earlier, while the student on his right now forms as ‘H’ instead of ‘I’.
