President Obama, George Clooney play basketball, with Tobey Maguire

US President Barack Obama played basketball with Hollywood actor George Clooney on Friday, May 11, 2012, along with ‘Spiderman’ star Tobey Maguire and a few staff members.

According to US news sites on Saturday, President Obama and George Clooney played basketball at the Cheviot Hills Recreation Center in Los Angeles on Friday morning, a day after a political fund-raising event was held at Clooney‘s house in Studio City, California.

As noted in reports, the said Obama 2012 re-election campaign event raised nearly $15 million which was also attended by Barbra Streisand, Robert Downey Jr, Salma Hayek, and Jack Black, with tickets worth $40,000 each.

“I did get to watch them play basketball yesterday, which is something I will never forget. George and Obama were on the same team, so they both won! I was the cheerleader on the side.” Stacy Keibler, 32, Clooney‘s girlfriend, told E! Online.

“Of course George and I won but we’re all winners because nobody got hurt.” President Obama was quoted replying to CBS NewsMark Knoller when asked who won the friendly basketball game, who also thanked Clooney for letting them play on his basketball court.
