Pokemon Black and White By Nintendo Is One of UK’s Biggest Launch

Pokemon Black and White single weekend combined sales is now considered as Nintendo‘s third biggest launch in the UK, according to a report by tracking firm Chart-Track.

By the end of March 5, 2011, Pokemon White version topped the software sales charts with over 13,000 units more than the Pokemon Black version. The white version now runs as the second fastest selling Nintendo DS title behind Professor Layton and Pandora’s Box from Level 5.

Electronic ArtsFight Night Champion placed third on its debut as it trails latest Pokemon titles. Previous chart leaders, Killzone 3 and Bulletstorm, slide down to fifth and fourth, respectively.
