Plane Crash Caught On Tape In Idaho Goes Viral (Video)

A plane crash caught on tape in Idaho last June has gone viral after being uploaded to YouTube by survivors, international reports said on August 10, 2012.

The video was taken from inside the small airplane after taking off from Bruce Meadows Airport in Stanley, Idaho on June 30, 2012.

Initial investigation said that the airplane “started losing altitude and experienced a downdraft, which was followed by its wings impacting the tops of the surrounding trees” ABC News reported.

The passengers on board were 70-year-old Leslie Gropp; his 38-year-old son, Tol; and two of Tol’s friends, Nathan Williams, 38, and Alex Arhets, 41.

All four passengers survived impact and were rescued by a retired firefighter.

The video was uploaded in YouTube last August 4, 2012 and as of this posting it already reached 626,977 views.
