According to MyFoxPhoenix.com on Thursday, March 8, 2012, a bright light suddenly appeared at the background while Fox 10 reporter Andrea Robinson is delivering the latest live traffic update that morning.

As noted in the report, the bright light was caught by the traffic camera and appeared in the area just to the right of Andrea‘s head which news station employees initially thought it was an explosion of a transformer.

However, Fox 10 noted that they talked with the two electric utilities APS and Salt River Project which services power to that Phoenix area and confirmed to them no such kind of incident occurred that time.

Apparently, reports noted that the incident took place nearly 15 years later after more than 10,000 Arizona residents witnessed lights appearing over the Phoenix skies, which happened on March 13, 1997 and was also caught on film.

As of this writing, the cause of the ‘Phoenix lights‘ remains a mystery and the station is requesting anyone who knows what happened that time to inform them via online through Facebook or Twitter.
