Philippine Weather Forecast By PAGASA July 1, 2011

Philippine weather, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecast as of 5:00 p.m. today June 1, 2011, will continue to be rainy due to an Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).

The ITCZ, according to PAGASA, will continue to affect Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao.

PAGASA weather forecast expects scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Widespread rains may also cause flash floods and landslides in Northern Palawan and Albay.

Other parts of “Luzon will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.”

Winds over Luzon will be light to moderate coming from the East to Southeast.

Water in the country’s seaboards will be slight to moderate.

PAGASA will issue its next advisory at 11 am tomorrow, July 2, 2011.
