PayPal announced on Thursday, November 1, 2012 its three gifts for holiday shoppers this year, which include Price Match, Return Shipping, and the so-called “Bill me later” promo. All of them, which are for the first time for Paypal, started that day, and will run until December 31, 2012.

According to a post at that day, PayPal price match means that if the item bought is advertised for a lower price by any merchant within 30 days of purchase, users can receive a reimbursement for the price difference. This is applicable to up to a $1,000 maximum and $250 per eligible item.

“It doesn’t matter if you bought the item online, in a store or a new item from eBay‘s Top-rated sellers using ‘Buy It Now.'” PayPal Shopping Specialist Claudia Lombana wrote, adding that even airline tickets from the same carrier that had a price drop within seven days of purchase also are eligible for the price match.

For the return shipping, Lombana noted that if shoppers change their minds on a gift they bought within 30 days and the merchant accepts returns but does not cover return shipping, they can return it with Paypal‘s complimentary return shipping, which is also limited to up to $100 maximum and $25 per eligible item.

Lastly, the “Bill me later” holiday promo, which they announced back in October, means that Paypal users can pay for their purchases later, which is applicable to every purchase of $99 or more and will qualify for 6 months special financing that is subject to credit approval.
