Paul McCartney announces two Special Homecoming Christmas shows, ticket details

Paul McCartney announced on his official website on Tuesday, his two upcoming special homecoming Christmas shows , as well as the ticket details.

McCartney announced that he and his band will end the year with two shows in Britain; one in London and one in Liverpool, and which he calls them as intimate and personal shows.

Sir Paul McCartney, as being called with high respect in UK, revealed that he will be back to perform live at Hammersmith Apollo, London on December 18, 2010, Saturday, where he performed last back in 1975, with his former band, Wings.

Then on December 20, Monday, Paul McCartney will also be performing live at O2 Academy in Liverpool for the first time in his career. He was reported to have last appeared in Liverpool back in June 2008, at Anfield Stadium.

“I always love playing to a home audience and for me it’s the perfect way to end the year. We’ve had great fun with the stadium shows this year and we’re looking forward to the more intimate vibe of these ones.” Paul McCartney said on his official website.

Christmas is the perfect excuse for everyone to let their hair down and rock out. We are looking forward to celebrating with the good people of London and Liverpool”. He added.

As posted at, tickets will go on sale starting December 8, 2010, Wednesday at 10 a.m., but are limited to four tickets only per person.
