Paris Air Show 2011: Boeing 787 Dreamliner Arrives In PAS11 (Video)

Boeing 787 Dreamliner has landed and will be on display at the Paris Air Show 2011 (PAS11) at Le Bourget, according to a press release by Boeing published on its official website on Tuesday, June 21, 2011.

ZA001 is the first Boeing 787 Dreamliner to land into Le Bourget airport and it will be on display at PAS11 until Friday. Captain Mike Carriker was the chief pilot of the ZA001.

According to reports, Boeing has already received over 800 orders of 787 Dreamliner from more than 50 airlines. One of the early buyers, ANA, is expecting to receive first 787 planes by August or September.

The Boeing 787-8 jetliner, a member of the 787 family, is a twin-aisle airplane that can carry 210 to 250 passengers. It is considered as a mid-size plane that can travel about 7,650 and 8,200 miles (14,200 and 15,200 km). The new jetliner features economical operations with its fuel efficiency and passenger comfort.
