Boeing‘s 747-8 Intercontinental plane, the world’s longest passenger plane, became one of the attractions during its debut at the 2011 Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, according to reports by several international news sites.

The new Boeing jet model, reportedly the world’s fastest passenger aircraft, can carry 467 passengers, which is 51 more than the older 747 jumbo jets.

According to reports, the 747-8 Intercontinental is listed at $317.5 million.

The 2011 Paris Air Show opened on Monday, June 20, 2011 in Le Bourget airport.
