A rare miniature cow similar to a Panda bear was born on a farm in Northern Colorado. The so-called Panda cow was discovered by Larimer county farmer Chris Jessen around 8:00 AM last Friday, December 31, 2010 and was named Ben, according to (Loveland) Reporter-Herald.

The small Panda cow is actually the product of genetic experiment. The band of white around the midsection and the black ovals around the eyes give the cow a Panda-like appearance. Likewise, it is thought to be one of only 24 in the world and the second panda cow to be born at Jessen’s hobby farm including a miniature kangaroo and mini donkeys.

The mini-cattle is bred solely as pets. Panda cows are usually sold for $30,000.
