PAGASA Tropical Storm Pedring update as of September 26 5 am, Public Storm signal No. 2 raised

Manila, PhilippinesTropical storm ‘Pedring’ have entered the country and PAGASA raised Public Storm Signal warning on Monday, September 26 to various parts of Luzon and Bicol region.

As posted by PAGASA on its official website on Monday 5 am (local time), tropical storm ‘Pedring’ has maintained its strength and continues to move towards Isabela-Aurora area.

PAGASA noted that as of 4am, Bagyong Pedring is 260 km East Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes and has maximum sustained winds of 110 kph near the center, with gustiness of up to 140 kph.

Tropical storm ‘Pedring’ is being forecast to move West Northwest at 17 kph and being estimated at 180 km Northeast of Baler, Aurora on Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile, PAGASA raised Public Storm Signal No. 1 in Albay, Burias Island, Sorsogon, Quezon, Quirino, Ifugao, Nueva Vizcaya, Mt. Province, Kalinga and Cagayan.

Public Storm Signal No. 2 was raised in Isabela, Aurora, Catanduanes, Polillo Island, Camarines Norte and Camarines Sur, with PAGASA not issuing any storm signal in Metro Manila as of this writing.

Nevertheless, PAGASA estimated that Bagyong Pedring will be 110 km West of Sinait, Ilocos Sur on Wednesday morning and to be 480 km Northwest of Sinait, Ilocos Sur on Thursday morning.
