PAGASA Tropical Storm Juaning Public Storm Signal update as of 5 pm July 26

Manila, Philippines – The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released on 5 p.m., today, July 26, its latest update on tropical storm Juaning.

As announced at PAGASA official website on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, as of 4 pm, tropical storm “Juaning” is 50 km Northeast of Daet, Camarines Norte.

According to PAGASA, tropical storm “Juaning” has maximum winds of 75 kph near the center; and gustiness of up to 90 kph, while moving West Northwest at 15 kph.

Tropical Storm “Juaning” has slightly intensified as it moves toward Quezon area and increases its threat to Southern and Central Luzon.” PAGASA (@dost_pagasa) posted on Twitter a few minutes ago.

Meanwhile, Public Storm Signal No. 2 (60-100 kph winds) was raised in Metro Manila, Batangas, Laguna and other areas in Luzon as listed below.
