PAGASA Tropical Depression Juaning Storm Signal update as of 11 am July 26

Manila, Philippines – The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released its latest update on Tropical Depression (TD) Juaning.

As reported earlier, the Department of Education (DepEd) announced suspension of Tuesday, July 26 afternoon classes at all levels in the entire Metro Manila (NCR) and other affected areas.

As announced at PAGASA official website on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, as of 11 a.m., tropical storm “Juaning” continues to move West Northwest at 19 kph.

According to PAGASA, “Juaning” is 100 km Northeast of Daet, Camarines Norte with maximum winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph.

With this, Public Storm Signal No. 2 (60-100 kph winds) was raised to Catanduanes, Albay, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Quezon, Polillo Island and Aurora.

On the other hand, PAGASA issued Public Storm Signal No. 1 (45-60 kph winds) to the areas listed below.
