The Philippines is still reeling from the damage done by Tropical StormBebeng“; unfortunately our country   is faced again with another potential new cyclone.

Based on reports by PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration) forecaster  Jori  Loiz,  the LPA (Low Pressure Area) may enter Philippine area as early as Thursday, May 12, 2011.

As Loiz translates in an interview on dzBB radio, “We are keeping watch over a potential cyclone, which may enter Philippine territory as early as Thursday. It is still an LPA as of now.”

Consequently recorded through same interview, “Chedeng”, the codename given to this cyclone, is possibly the third to enter the Philippine territory this year.

On the other hand, according to PAGASA, Tropical StormBebeng” is still moving towards the southern islands of Japan as of Tuesday morning.  Weather update further confirms that Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon can still expect rains this coming Wednesday.
