PAGASA Bagyong Pablo Weather Update: Typhoon Pablo Slowed Down, Now Over Northern Palawan

Typhoon Pablo has slowed down and weakened slightly and is now over Northern Palawan, PAGASA Severe Weather Bulletin Number 12 issued at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 reported.

According to the bulletin, typhoon Pablo‘s center was located at 120 km Northeast of Puerto Princesa City as of 10:00 am. It has maximum sustained winds of 120 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 150 kph. It moves northwest at 19 kph.

PAGASA expects typhoon Pablo to be at 470 km west of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro by Thursday morning and 610 km west of Dagupan City, Pangasinan by Friday morning.

Public storm warning signals have been lowered in most of the areas. Below are the remaining areas under public storm warning signals:

Signal No. 3
Northern Palawan and Calamian Grp. of Islands

Signal No. 2
Rest of Palawan

Signal No. 1
Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Lubang Island and Antique

PAGASA‘s next weather bulletin on Typhoon Pablo will be issued at 5:00 pm.
