In an exclusive interview via Fight Hub TV last Tuesday, June 5, Dana White said that the upcoming Pacquiao-Bradley fight will be a tough match, but stressed out that Manny Pacquiao might have the edge and will be able to out-power Timothy Bradley.
“Manny Pacquiao has speed, power, everything else. Bradley‘s a tough kid, man. This is a tougher fight than people think it is. This is a tough one to break down. Bradley‘s tough man, but I think Manny‘s going to out-speed him and out-power him.” White said in the interview.
“He might even stop him. Tim Bradley‘s no joke. That kid’s tough. I like him. I’m excited for that fight. Here’s the hard part: 24/7 tries to give you the illusion that Manny has all these other things going on and it looks like he’s distracted.” White added.
“You know what’s weird, too, it’s almost like they’re portraying him now like he’s not that fun-loving Manny Pacquiao anymore. Talks about him having troubles with his wife, all his businesses are going out of business [and] he’s becoming a preacher because God came and talked to him.” White explained further.
Pacquiao, 33, (54-3-2, 38 KOs), will be defending his World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight championship belt against Bradley, 28, (28-0, 12 KOs), the undefeated WBO junior welterweight champion; and will be shown live at HBO PPV.
