Manila, PhilippinesSarangani Congressman and eight-division world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao played Santa Claus on his 32nd birthday party on Friday night, and gave away P1-M cash as the grand raffle prize.

As reported by Dyan Castillejo on ABS-CBN’s late night news, Bandila, Pacquiao played the role of Santa Claus by generously giving away P1 million cash through a raffle, which surprised his fans and guests.

Along with the P1-M grand prize, the Pinoy world-famous boxer also gave away 3 flat TV sets, 2 motorcycles, and a Toyota Vios, wherein only 1,500 raffle stubs were printed, as published at ABS-CBN‘s its official website.

Aside from Team Pacquiao members, Coach Freddie Roach and Gov. Chavit Singson, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum was also present, as well as boxer Juan Manuel Lopez of Puerto Rico.

Mommy Dionisia, Manny’s mother, was scheduled to have a dance number but did not push through after the prepared CD was nowhere to find.

The birthday party, which was hosted by comedian-actors Long Mejia and Bayani Agbayani, was reported to be worth P3 million and was planned by Jinkee Pacquiao, wife of Manny.

“OK lang. Basta masaya ang mga kasama ko, OK na ako. Sa akin hindi importante ang materyal, sa akin importante ang mga kaibigan ko.” Pacquiao told the news.

(It’s OK. As long as my friends are happy, I’m OK too. For me, friends are more important than material things.)
