As reported, May 23, 2011, by various international news sites, a “ridiculous” possible terrorist attack to be carried out in revenge for the death of Osama Bin Laden, caused a primary school trip to be cancelled.

Apparently, a group of five and six-year-old pupils from Orleans Infant School in Twickenham, south-west London, were scheduled to make a visit in nearby Hounslow Mosque tomorrow.

However, according to reports, the trip was cancelled after unverified concerns about their “safety” were raised by the headmistress.

Nevertheless, parents were enraged after the scheduled tour was cancelled in which they were concerned that it will send a” wrong signal” to the kids about Muslims.

Based on reports, one parent was quoted saying, ‘This is the most bizarre and ridiculous decision. It seems to be based on ignorance and bigotry, the opposite of what education should be about. How am I supposed to explain it to my kids?’
