Oprah Winfrey will give one lucky audience a free trip to Perth in their show in Australia, as published at SkyNews on Tuesday.

According to the report, Oprah announced on Tuesday that one lucky audience will be chosen to visit Perth, the capital of Western Australian capital, which with be accompanied by a guest before the group meeting in Sydney.

Last September, Oprah announced on her show that The Oprah Winfrey Show and 300 American fans will be visiting Australia from December 7 to 15, 2010.

Australia’s Tourism Minister Martin Ferguson have confirmed and welcomed the free trip to Perth, as Oprah also said she is very excited to visit the country.

“We’re just weeks away from our ultimate Australian adventure and we’ve got a case of Aussie fever,” Oprah said on Tuesday, adding that she could not wait to be with fans to visit Australia.

“The announcement of Oprah‘s trip has already generated more than $17 million in advertising and is a great coup for Australia‘s $33 billion tourism industry.” The Tourism minister said.

As of this writing, more than 350,000 Aussie people have requested for tickets for the two episodes of The Oprah Winfrey Show, which will be recorded at the Sydney Opera House on December 14, with a capacity audience of 6,000.
