China‘s official Communist Party newspaper, People’s Daily, has been duped by The Onion report naming North Korean leader Kim Jong Un as the “Sexiest Man Alive For 2012,” international news sites reported on Tuesday, November 27, 2012.
According to reports, an online version of the Chinese newspaper, People’s Daily, featured a 55-page photo of Kim Jong Un on its website hailing a report of The Onion for choosing the North Korean leader as “The Sexiest Man Alive for 2012,” allegedly not realizing that the article is a satire.

“With his devastatingly handsome, round face, his boyish charm, and his strong, sturdy frame, this Pyongyang-bred heartthrob is every woman’s dream come true,” People’s Daily quoted The Onion.
“Blessed with an air of power that masks an unmistakable cute, cuddly side, Kim made this newspaper’s editorial board swoon with his impeccable fashion sense, chic short hairstyle, and, of course, that famous smile,” People’s Daily added, still quoting The Onion.
People’s Daily featured photos of Kim Jong Un which include Kim on a horseback, Kim wearing sunglasses and smiling, as shown below, and Kim waving towards a military parade.
