According to Guardian UK on Saturday, the Spice Girls reunion will be composed of its original members, including Victoria Beckham, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown, and Geri Halliwell, who were spotted doing rehearsals at the Ford car plant in Dagenham, east London.

As noted in the report, among others that were seen during the rehearsals are Brian May, Annie Lennox, the Pet Shop Boys, Tinie Tempah, Jessie J and Kate Bush. Elton John, The Who, Take That, The Kinks, Adele, Kaiser Chiefs, and Madness are among those rumored to be also performing on that event.

“We’re trying to have moments where someone from the Cotswolds watching it on TV and someone from a tower block overlooking it in the East End will be able to find something in it of which they can say, ‘That’s us, really that’s Britain‘.” Olympic closing ceremony musical director David Arnold was quoted in the report.

“To me, this should be the greatest after-party in the world. If the Opening Ceremony was the wedding, then we’re the wedding reception.” Arnold added, with the event titled “A Symphony of British Music” and aims to celebrate Britain’s music strongest cultural exports over the last 50 years.

“It is about British creativity in the arts. There is a hell of a lot of talent and music and a hell of a lot of show in the show.” London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony director Stephen Daldry was quoted at London2012.com, with the event set to 4 p.m. ET and can be watched live online at NBCOlympics.com.

Among the other highlights of the event, which is being expected to be watched by millions around the world, are the performances of over 4,100 performers, the march of the Olympic athletes at the Olympics Stadium, and the handover of the Olympic Flag to Rio de Janeiro for the 2016 Olympic Games.
