According to reports, the floating scuplture is a creation of Oliver Voss, head of the advertising academy Miami Ad School. It is known as “The Bather.” It was said to be 13-foot high and 98-foot long, and was made to show a woman enjoying herself bathing in the lake. Reports said that it was made from steel and styrofoam.

Not everybody likes the artwork. District Leader Markus Schreiber reportedly said that “The Bather” has actually “sullied the beloved lake.”

The floating lady sculpture will be on display for only 10 days, reports said.
