Obama Stuns Bookstore Shoppers On Small Business Saturday

US President Barack Obama stunned bookstore shoppers at a local Washington bookstore when he went shopping for books on Small Business Saturday.

According to reports, Obama went to Washington‘s Politics and Prose bookstore, together with his daughters Malia and Sasha. They purchased a “long list” of books which include Harold and the Purple Crayon, The Sports Gene, Buddha in the Attic, and The Kite Runner.

Of course, shoppers and employees were surprised when Obama dropped by at his casual clothes together with his daughters. He was seen talking to people as he makes his purchase. He wished everyone a “great holiday” when he left the shop, and customers applauded him.

Earlier that day, the president tweeted about Small Business Saturday encouraging his followers to support local small business.

“Today is #SmallBizSat – remember to shop at your local small business to support all they do for the community,” Obama tweeted.
