US President Barack Obama played golf with US House Speaker Boehner for the first time on Saturday, June 18, 2011 as shown in the video below.

According to US news sites on Saturday, President Obama and Speaker Boehner played golf and won against against the team US Vice President Joe Biden and Ohio Governor John Kasich.

The Obama-Boehner team reportedly won the golf match on the 18th hole held at the Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, with the president and the speaker winning $2 each.

As noted on reports, the foursome golf outing started at 9:30 am and took about four hours, with President Obama later seen at the clubhouse enjoying a cold drink with the three politicians.

Apparently, the president, who wore dark pants, a white polo shirt and a baseball cap, tap on the speaker’s back they were heading to the second hole and drove their golf cart.

Nevertheless, the historical golf event was said to be an important bonding time for both Obama and Boehner as both politicians had opposing belief particularly on Libya concerns, budget cuts and political views.
