According to US news sites that day, President Obama will play golf against US House Speaker John Boehner for the first time on Saturday in an undisclosed golf course with heavily guarded aides.

Apparently, Obama and Boehner are expected to have time to bond with each other amid the pressure on the budget cut, Libya concerns and political views.

Boehner, a Republican, according to Golf Digest ranks No. 43 among 150 prominent golfers in Washington, while the president who loves basketball more ranks No. 108.

Nevertheless, reports say it will not matter as to who will win or lose but rather expecting a social bonding to be started between the two most powerful man in the US.

“I don’t know that one golf match will do it but it’s a good beginning,” South Carolina Democrat Representative Jim Clyburn was quoted at Bloomberg, who was noted to have played golf with both of them.

Meanwhile, Obama and Boehner will go against US Vice President Joe Biden who will be partnered by Ohio Republican Governor John Kasich.
