Is it an oarfish or did they finally had a close encounter with a loch ness monster?

A woman reportedly discovered a life-less creature along the shoreline of Luis Siret Beach in Villaricos, Spain on Wednesday, August 21, 2013.

Authorities however are at a loss about the mysterious 13-foot creature since they cannot identify the species.

Maria Sanches of the Cuevas Civil Protection explained that “A lady found one part and we helped her retrieve the rest. We have no idea what it was. It really stank.”

Published images of the creature on Facebook created widespread speculations linking the creature to the Loch Ness Monster. Some netizens however, think that the carcass is that of a sea dragon, water dinosaur, mutated fish, shark species or an oarfish.
