Nordstrom Scholarship Programs 2011-2012: $10,000 Offered to US High School Seniors

Nordstrom Scholarship Programs for 2011-2012 is offered to US high school seniors who would be receiving $10,000 worth of college scholarships. This was announced at the Nordstrom website, and reported by local news sites this April 2011.

The scholarship is offered to 80 students across the US who can qualify for the scholarship tagged as TEN 4 U.  According to Nordstrom Cares, its way of showing commitment is by:

“Helping students achieve their dreams of higher education is a meaningful way for us to show that commitment.’

Application dates are March 15 to May 16, 2011. Some of the basic requirements are:

  • Cumulative unweighted GPA of at least 2.7 ( on a 4.0 scale) during high school
  • Be a high school junior and live in one of the participating states specified by Nordstrom
  • Not convicted  of any crime
