As noted at 923Now.Radio.com on Friday, February 17, 2012, Nick Cannon announced that he is leaving the radio show “Rollin’ with Nick Cannon” that day, which he has been hosting for two years.

According to the report, Cannon, 31, who was hospitalized last month due to kidney issues, revealed that he returned to the hospital over the weekend for two blood clots found in his lungs.

“Under doctor’s orders, I have been asked to put my health first and cut back on some of my professional commitments in order to allow my body to get the rest that it needs to keep up with the demands of my multi-tasking schedule,” Cannon was quoted in a statement.

“It has been an absolute pleasure working with CBS Radio and the 92.3 NOW morning show team and I would like to thank them for their unwavering support. Even Superman has to sleep.” Cannon added, noting that he will continue to host his syndicated ‘Cannon’s Countdown‘ weekend show.

Nevertheless, a source at People said that Cannon did not give himself time to fully recover before he returned to his show and noted that “waking up that early in the morning and his travel schedule was grueling”.

Meanwhile, 92.3 NOW Radio announced that for the time being, DJ Lil Cee will be holding down the morning spot with Sarah Lee and will release more updates as soon as they become available.
