Tony RomoIt seems that the Dallas Cowboys will have to go on with Tony Romo out of the game. Tony Romo broke his left clavicle earlier today during a game lost by his team. The New York Giants defeated the Dallas Cowboys, 41-35.

The incident happened in the second quarter. New York linebacker Michael Boley landed on Romo after a pass to Miles Austin, leaving Romo‘s collarbone broken.

ESPN said that the type of clavicle fracture Tony Romo got can take about 8 to 10 weeks to recover. It means that Romo might not play anymore this season if things are really that bad. While some of these fractures need surgery, there is a big possibility that after Romo have an MRI, he will simply be asked to remain on leave for a gradual healing of the injury that could take until December.
