New Hampshire primary 2012 initial results showed former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney as the race leader, according to reports by several international news sites on Wednesday, January 11, 2012.

As of posting, 95.3% precincts has already reported their results. Gov. Romney has garnered 95,669 votes or about 39.4% of the total turnout of voters. Texas Representative Ron Paul came in second with 55,455 or about 22.8% of the votes. In third place is former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman with 40,903 or 16.8% of the votes.

Gov. Romney, running for the Republican presidential nomination, has already won earlier US state presidential primaries that include last week’s 2012 Iowa caucus.
