A new Florida sinkhole recently appeared, as shown in the news video below. It is located in Seffner, the town where a massive sinkhole swallowed Jeff Bush, whose body was never recovered. Three weeks ago, a 12-feet wide, 5 feet deep sinkhole was also spotted, around 2 miles away from Bush‘ house.

As reported at this Sunday, March 24, 2013, this latest sinkhole appeared between two houses in 1400 block in Lake Shore Ranch Drive around 7:00 p.m. (ET) last Saturday, and measures around 8 feet in diameter and 10 feet deep. Fortunately, nobody has been injured and authorities are now looking into it.

According to the report, Hillsborough Fire Rescue crews and code enforcement officials immediately rushed to the scene after learning about the new Florida sinkhole. Authorities placed caution tape around the dangerous area, and residents of both homes have already evacuated as a safety precaution.

ABC NewsTai Hernandez reported about the sinkhole. Gabriella Pazmino, 11, said she was standing at an ice cream truck with her friends when she saw the sinkhole. She said she took a closer look at it and immediately told her dad about her scary discovery, who called the authorities.

“I was scared that our house would be next.” Gabriella told the report, who also interviewed her neighbors, including Robert Lassiter and his mother. Lassiter, who owns and lives in the house where the sinkhole was discovered, left their home, and is very worried not only for their lives but also for his property.
