The Confections & Snacks Division of Nestle USA announced a voluntary recall of Raisinets Fun Size Bags (10oz) on Friday.

As published by US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on their website, the company specified the product code of 02015748/UPC number 2800010255 for the Raisinets Fun Size Bags (10oz), which is the only affected product of the Nestle Recall 2010.

The said product code has a possibility of having undeclared peanuts, which may be cause serious condition or can be life-threatening allergic reaction to people with severe sensitivity.

The affected Raisinets Fun Size Bags (10oz) were distributed to Target, Shop Rite and Don Quixote retail stores, in US only, Nestle said.

Meanwhile, US FDA said they already received three complaints as this product was labeled ‘with a precautionary statement “made on equipment that also processes peanuts,” the product should not, but may contain some peanuts that are not declared on the label’.

While Nestle said they apologize for any inconvenience their consumers had, they also said they are making serious actions against the problem.

With this, potential affected customers are being advised to stop consuming this specified product, and inform the company instead.

For more information and answers to questions, the concern public can contact Nestle Consumer Services directly at 1-800-478-5670 for a full refund.

Operators are available between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. EST and after hours for emergencies, Nestle said.

Nestle added that customers can also send emails to Nestle at [email protected].
