The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the San Antonio Spurs, 109-103, in Game 4 of the 2012 NBA Western Conference Finals on Saturday night, June 2, 2012 at Chesapeake Energy Arena, Oklahoma City, OK, as published at NBA.com. The NBA Playoffs best-of-seven series is now tied at two-games apiece.
Three-time scoring champion Kevin Durant led OKC with 36 points. He scored 18 points in the final 7 minutes to hold off the Spurs rally. Serge Ibaka scored a career-high 26 points. He made all of his 11 shots from the field and all four of his free throws. Kendrick Perkins added 15 points for OKC.
Oklahoma City shot 56 percent from the field and out-rebounded San Antonio 41-31.
The Thunder is trying to become the 15th NBA team to comeback from a 0-2 deficit in a seven-game series, and the eighth since 2004.
Tim Duncan scored 21 points for San Antonio. Kawhi Leonard added 17 points and nine rebounds for the Spurs.
San Antonio suffered its second straight loss after winning 20-consecutive games.
Game 5 of the 2012 NBA Western Conference Finals best-of-seven series is scheduled on Monday night, June 4 at the AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX.
