NBA Playoffs: Miami Heat In OT Win Vs Boston Celtics In Game 4 Of NBA Eastern Semis

LeBron James led the Miami Heat to a 98-90 overtime win against the Boston Celtics in Game 4 of the 2011 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals on Monday night, May 9, 2011, according to a report by NBA.com.

Miami’s big three combined for 83 of their team output of 98 points. James top-scored for the Heat with 35 points and 14 rebounds. Dwyane Wade had 28 points and nine rebounds, while Chris Bosh added 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Boston, the defending conference champions, was led by Paul Pierce with 27 points, Ray Allen had 17 and Kevin Garnett with seven points and 10 rebounds. Rajon Rondo, played with a padded sleeve on his injured left arm, scored 10 points and issued five assists in 39 minutes.

Pierce tied the game at 86 with a drive to the basket that sent the game into overtime.

Miami scored 12 points and provided a good defensive effort in overtime to limit Boston to just four points, on 1 for 6 shooting.

The Heat can eliminate the Celtics and advance to the 2011 NBA Eastern Conference Finals with a win on Wednesday night’s Game 5 in Miami.
