The Los Angeles Lakers cruise to a 103-88 victory over the Denver Nuggets in their first game of the NBA Playoffs‘ first round series on Sunday, April 29, 2012, according to a report at NBA.com.

Kobe Bryant led all scorers with 31 points. Ramon sessions had 14 points for the Lakers. LA center Andrew Bynum posted a triple double with 10 points, 13 rebounds and a post season record 10 blocks. Pau Gasol added 13 points for the LA.

Bynum‘s triple-double is reportedly the first by any Lakers‘ player since Magic Johnson did it in the 1991 NBA finals.

Danilo Gallinari scored 19 points for the Nuggets. Andre Miller added 12 points for Denver.

With three 3-pointers coming from Steve Blake, the Lakers jumped to an early 13-point lead. Devin Ebanks also played well for LA by hitting 5 of 6 from the field.

Game 2 will be played on Tuesday at the Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA.
